Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss one of most popular and successful Country Musicians born on July 23rd, 1971 in Decatur Illinois in the US. She and LeAnn Kymes were among the youngest recipients of a Grammy Award. Alison Maria Krauss was born in July of 1971. Alison is a bluegrass and country singer. She began her career in the industry at an early age winning local contests by when she was 10 years old and making her first recording when she was 14 years old. Signed with Rounder Records, her first album was released in 1987. She joined the group with who she still performs, Alison Krauss Union Station. The group released their debut album in the year 1989.
