Simone Biles

Simone Biles was an American gymnast born on March 14, 1997 in Ohio, Columbus. She is considered to be among the most talented gymnasts. Biles was raised in Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area after she and her twin sister Adria had been adopted by grandparents Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone was interested in gymnastics when she was just six years old during school field trips to Bannon's Gymnastix and she continued there throughout 11 years under the supervision of her coach Aimee Boorman. Biles took home the gold medal in the floor and vault exercises at the 2009 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships before becoming an highest level of competition in 2011. She dominated her sport less than two year later. The thing that set Biles out was her constancy her exuberant personality and the intense level of effort she incorporated into her routines across all four events--vault uneven bars, balance beam and the floor workout.
